Another Presidential Scandal?

Last summer, I stumbled upon a most amazing find. While fulfilling a job request on Venezuela, I inadvertently discovered that our President Bush is due for some very difficult times between June 2003 and Fall 2004. He will walk a very fine line between secrets and friends. One of the next big stories to develop over the next 18 months for the United States, will point to President G.W. Bush and company.

I didn't think all that much of it until I went back to the last time similar, difficult aspects existed for a President of the United States. What I discovered was shocking. The last time an American president dealt with the approaching difficult aspects between Sun/Saturn was in 1996-97, while then President Clinton was involved with the Monica Lewinsky scandal. The difference between the aspects then and now? I do not see Bush getting off as easy as Clinton did. The Sun/Saturn aspects for 2003-2004 are much more difficult and powerful than they were in 1996-97. It would indeed seem that Bush has his share of upcoming problems.

Now, let me clarify that these aspects do not mean that the same story will develop for Bush that developed for Clinton, even though Bush is known to have been ‘a playboy' (see Gov. George W. Bush Jr.). George W. Bush has his own set of wrong-doings that will catch up with him. There are lots of questions being raised about Harkin's insider trading and Bush's accountability. Just pick up any political news from the internet, magazines, newspapers etc. It is all out there. This upcoming Saturn/Sun conjunction, merely says he is going to be held accountable.

Bush's birth chart speaks of an individual who has problems telling the truth within legal and foreign settings. The last time Saturn was at this point in Bush's life was in the early to mid 1970's. This is a time no one seemed to know where he was, as he had trouble showing up for military service and standard drug testing. There are a lot of discrencies between Bush's military records and what Bush has said about his military history. Please see: www.talion.com/georgebush.html. Additionally, Bush was convicted on September 4, 1976 while driving under the influence of alcohol. He convinced legal authorities that he had an occasional beer. Currently, Bush is working hard to get around the U.N. in order to go to war with Iraq. How far will he go in this foreign setting? Astrological indication suggests a war in January/February 2003. Another shocker, the astrological indication suggests that a war zone here in our country as we go to war elsewhere. A reflection? Astrology makes a good argument that Saddam will not be overtaken until later, like 2006-8. Any attempts before this, are likely to be a mistake for Bush.

Other potential manifestations are poor health, being victimized by hidden enemies, and creating his own self-undoing. His desire to protect and defend may be a weakness, under these passing influences. The Patriot Act may lose its flavor to the American public.

There are some positive, potential outlets for Bush. That is to say that Saturn will continue to trine Uranus for 2003-2004. Jupiter will move back and forth to sextile this Sun/Saturn combination. This may manifest in support from his cabinet and some friends. Also, the economy is set for a recovery. This will help him during these troubling aspects between summer of 2003 and Fall 2004.

Astrological Data Supporting Bush's Mounting Problems
The Sun in Political Astrology stands for the leader of the nation. Saturn is about restrictions, difficulties, hard lessons, and reputation -- to name but a few. When these two planet meet in geometric configuration of either 0, 90, 150, or 180 degrees apart, they are said to be under stressful conditions. This can translate into English as the president is going through pure ‘Hades'.

The red indicates stressful connections and the blue marker shows ease. Notice that the only ease was at the end of the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal in 1998. As history will state, he was formally impeached by both houses, but they did not remove him from office.

The charts used below are common amongst political astrologers. These charts are: the chart of the Nation, the chart of the President, and the seasonal charts. The following set of three charts highlight Sun/Saturn or leader/hardships from Summer 2003-Fall 2004.

Conclusion
Americans are moody this Fall 2002. As the President enjoys praise and confident moments this fall, there is equally a distaste or raw, rough edge about the President that is starting to bother many Americans. The extreme use of control, like the Patriot Act and the Operation TIPS program, may be too much for this country. War with Iraq, a tangled mess that effects Bush's reputation in coming months. Our military in Afghanistan want to come home (New York Times, September 3, 2002).

Mid-October will be the first rumble, mostly behind the scenes for Bush. Whether it is Bush's or Cheney's corporate accounting scandals, souring international relations and mounting military/civil service pressures.... the problems have just begun to set in for Bush and the American people. This fall there is a lot going on behind closed doors to find the dirt on Bush. Democrats are building for their day. I just want to say that they do not have to push so hard -- it will happen. Just not yet.

These problems will hang over his head through the next election cycle. His problems are likely to be legal, foreign and military issues. The astrological data supports that Bush and Cheney may be able to ward off their opponents this quarter, but they won't be so lucky next summer. The American people have yet to see the full Monty.

I find that the conjunction is more direct and to the point, more powerful than the squares than Clinton had during 1996-7.
