Domestic Areas in the News

(3.6.01) -- This Summer, the West Coast continues to be hard hit. It makes sense considering the power outages and earthquake that have rocked California and Washington State. As most of us already know, it's not over yet. There is more to come. Looking at the astrological data just confirms it for me. Now, allow me to share it with you and if you like what you read, let me know.

West Coast has other possible manifestations as well. (5.10.01 -- Boeing pulls out of Seattle and moves to Chicago.) This area looks most difficult in terms of power and control for the year. There looks like an element of fear or undermining situations between the border of Canada and Washington. Personally, when I look at this energy, I would not want to live on the West Coast this year, especially around the Canadian border and Washington State. It appears that Canada is going through an unstable time that may very well influence our borders. The energy appears to be very intense and controlling. The Full Moon March 9, March 14 are cautionary dates. August 4-5 -- the situation begins to have a better plan. This continues into May, 2002. Moving along West to East 112-114-118W -- for example, Salt Lake City, UT -- an area showing an identity wound. Phoenix, AZ -- Ouch! Sensitive as in vulnerable areas that need to be looked into.

An example of this theme would be all the fires this past year that killed off thousands of acres of forest and wildlife. It is no doubt an eye sore to look at this year -- not a place to take that family vacation. This would probably effect the local economy, no? Nevertheless, the theme for 112-114-118W remains vulnerable and sensitive. 90-91W, e.g. New Orleans has a similar theme of a wounded identity. I can't help but think that Mardi Gras is beginning to have a bad image for Louisiana due to violence that has been associated with Mardi Gras this year. (NORAD is located in Colorado Springs and operates out of the Cheyenne Mountain. This area was developed to survive a nuclear disaster. It closed for the first time in 50 years on 9.11.) Also, I cannot emphasize ENOUGH 103-107W for the year, for example, Casper, WY (NPR -- 3.19.01 -- Bush administration is building natural gas sites, causing pollution concerns across WY); Boulder and Denver, CO; Roswell and Albuquerque, NM (NPR -- 3.19.01 -- Governor of New Mexico wants to legalize marajuana). If I had to describe what I see in the charts, key words are usurping, aggressive, random acts. Dates for caution are between the New Moon April 23 and Full Moon May 7, 2001.

As for 95-97W, e.g., Des Moines (5.10.01 -- recent floods), Houston, it looks like territorial issues that can create some heated scenarios. I've also seen these aspects coincide with difficult weather patterns. August and December 2001 look like notable time frames for this area. Finally, for the Northeast Coast -- 70W-73W. Neptune falls close to NYC, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. This area is bound to stand out as soon as Spring has sprung. On the light side, it looks like above average precipitation along the Northeast Coast this year. On the nebulous side, open opposition, like Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, drug lords create a heightened sensitivity for Washington and the Northeast coast. It is as if you just can't put your finger on the enemy. A catch-all phrase is that the psychology of the people in the Northeast may be a little emotionally sensitive, maybe even a little paranoid, e.g., the economy, spies, hackers, chemical and biological warfare. On the positive side -- develop your spirituality, have faith. (5.10.01 -- Terrorism Conference in Washington.)

Key time frames for heightened activity: Dates for caution are between the New Moon April 23 and Full Moon May 7, 2001. The upswing between the New Moon May 22, 2001 and the Full Moon June 5, 2001.

Other key dates June 13, 2001; June 21-July 13, and July 20, 2001 for this Summer. This energy is random and impulsive. Places of amusement, pleasure, children, speculative work (stock market) areas stand out in the charts between June 21 and July 5, 2001. 90-91W and 111-112W seem to stand out. Please note, these areas are in relationship to Washington D.C. They are bound to be in the news as they pertain to our nation's capitol and our identity as Americans.

Now, just as there are dates for caution, there are time frames to enjoy. There is opportunity this Summer to create that memorable family vacation or event. Sure, there is some tension -- relationships have been going through changes throughout this year, but July 20-August 10 there is a lot of protective love available. So don't be crabby, take advantage of those hugs -- metaphorically or literally!
