Therefore, I was wondering if you can give me your advice in
a mundane chart of my country, Venezuela.
Can you please tell me when the government of Chavez will end?

An Overview: The America's
have been Stirred!
I would like to begin this report with the eclipses that have been
concentrating on the Americas since February 26, 1998. The reason
for the focus on the eclipses is because the path of any New Moon
eclipse usually brings upset, chaos and upheaval to the areas it
hits -- particularly when the aspects involved are challenging.
They have been. A total eclipse is more powerful than a partial
or annular. Nevertheless, their energy will last for a few years
after each eclipse. We can see the manifestation of these eclipses
in this recent civil war in Venezuela, the political strife in Argentina
elections, 9/11, the Colombian drug wars, etc. This is why I say,
the Americas have been stirred.
Please note the four eclipses. They are: February 26, 1998; December
25, 2000; December 14, 2001; and June 10, 2002. Notice how Venezuela
has been in close contact with these eclipses. You can count on
a cycle of upheavals wherever the eclipse path lands. This will
act out politically, economically, and individually on many different
levels.
All of these are close to key time frames in Venezuela's recent
history. Chavez won Presidential elections in 1998 and then again
in 2000. He was sworn-in in January of 2001. These eclipses coincide
with Chavez's rise to power. As you study the maps, you can see
that Venezuela was due for a president like Chavez. He exemplifies
the division of economic wealth. The most recent eclipse is June
10, 2002 amidst a paralyzed country, more protests and another coup
attempt in the works. Please refer to the maps.
The good news is that after June 10, 2002, the paths of the eclipses
move away from Venezuela. The bad news is that the eclipses leave
a divided country for a few years yet to come. Studying all the
astrological data, I believe that this will be most seriously reflected
in the Venezuelan economy.
The Ingresses, The Chart
of the Leader and the Chart of the Nation
There are three methods used to forecast political events for any
country. The first is the Ingress. The moment the Sun enters Spring,
Summer, Winter and Fall of any given year. The capitol of the nation
is used for longitude and latitude. It is by far the most reliable
as it is inarguable the moment the Sun enters 0 degrees of a cardinal
sign. For this report I have studied the Ingresses for 2002 and
2003. A total of 8 charts.
The second is the chart of its leader. I have noticed a strong correlation
of activity amongst the people when the chart of the leader is effected.
After studying his chart, I was quite drawn to the 2:30am birth
time you provided for Chavez because of the 15 degrees Gemini rising.
This really fits the current situation that you are in, because
of the three passes of Saturn opposition Pluto from August 2001-May
2002. These three oppositions fell so close to his ascendant/descendant
and this explains a country divided, a civil war. Nevertheless,
if an accurate birth time is not available, Sun-on-the-Ascendant
can be quite revealing. In this report, I have used both the Sun
on the Ascendant and the birth time that you provided for Chavez.
This may be a noted weak point in this report if Chavez's birth
time is inaccurate.
The third method used to understand political astrology is the
chart of the nation. You have provided all of these to the best
of your ability. Since the time is so controversial, I have used
Sun on the Ascendant only for Venezuela's chart July 5, 1811.
In addition to the three points above, it has been important for
me to invest time into studying the history and events leading up
to Venezuela's current problems. Below, you will find that I have
attempted to simplify what I see in the charts by using the simple
concepts of Jupiter and Saturn. There is more astrological data
that supports these themes, but I thought it important to keep it
simple and to step back and to see this situation from a distance.
Chavez Stays in 2002: A Jupiter
Factor
The Sun represents the leader of a nation, whether it is found in
the ingress, the leader's chart, or the chart of the nation. I have
used these three tools in combination with the transit of Jupiter.
(Please refer to the Jupiter chart below.) What I find truly amazing
is that during the coup attempt in April 2002, transiting Jupiter
was approaching a conjunction to Venezuela's Sun. The leader would
'get lucky', so to speak. In actuality, Chavez regained power on
the New Moon April 13, 2002. Again, another coup attempt is in the
works (July 2002), and transiting Jupiter is due to conjunct Chavez's
Sun in August and September of 2002. Chavez, again, has a lucky
streak due. He stays in power through 2002, however difficult it
may seem. A spotlight of justice shines on him, as well. He is likely
to be faced with financial legal problems. Nevertheless, he is lucky.
For now...
The last bit of luck falls close to the proposed elections, but
not enough to win if there is an election. It is during this time
that transiting Jupiter will conjunct Chavez's Pluto August 1, 2003.
His desire for control is so powerful at this time, that it would
be fitting for him to use neighboring military for his purposes.
A cautionary time for those that oppose his leadership.
Chavez's Rulership Ends
in 2003: A Saturn Factor (12.05.06- Just a difficult
phase, with restrictions, not an end. Of course, they tried to kill
him. He survived.)
Right behind Jupiter sits Saturn, the slower moving of the two.
Saturn restricts and makes situations difficult. In June of 2003,
transiting Saturn will conjunct the ingress Sun (leader). This occurred
at least one other time in Venezuelan's recent history. That was
in the Summer Ingress for 1996, when then President Rodriguez was
placed under house arrest and later convicted in 1996 for misappropriating
government funds. There were assassination attempts on his life
at this time as well. The point is that when Saturn (endings, restrictions)
conjoins the Sun (leader), the lucky streak is over.
Chavez faces difficult moments in the coming year with the justice
and/or legal system over money and a relationship, e.g., campaign
money. Chavez may be busy embezzling money out of the country. An
election is in the works, so is a coup. Count on the "ten hooded
men in combat fatigues." A coup is set to take over. It is
already in motion. This coup has help from other foreign countries.
Chavez has help from Cuba. The astrological data supports this coup
attempt in 2002, but remember, Saturn will not conjunct the Sun
of the Ingress until Summer 2003. This means that the coup is likely
to fail in 2002.
The likelihood of an event occurring similar to Rodriguez is great
during the second half of 2003. Secrets and money will be an issue.
Either way, situations begin to limit Chavez. Chavez is currently
suggesting an election August 19, 2003. This date is very revealing.
It places secondary progressed Moon conjunct Chavez's progressed
MC in the 11th house of elections. This says in English that changes
are due in his presidency. Transiting Saturn approaches a conjunction
to Venezuela's Sun. The lucky streaks are over.
Please refer to the Summer 2002 Chart. It is quite revealing as
it coincides with the current direction to oust Chavez from power.
The opposition parties to Chavez wants him out now -- Summer of
2002. The country is likely to turn to a vote. Chavez has plans
with minorities and the impoverished. He is likely to use the vote
to identify with the national crisis.
If you look at the Summer 2002 chart, you will notice Saturn (endings,
hardships, limitations) is approaching a conjunction to the Sun
(leader). You would think that the leadership is due to be over.
However, if you track the transit of Saturn you will notice that
Saturn never makes a conjunction to the 2002 Summer Sun (0 degrees
of Cancer) until Summer of 2003! Saturn will retrograde at 29 degrees
of Gemini in December. It is so, so close but does not conjunct
until next June 2003.
It is safe to say that situations really heat up in December, but
then back off as Saturn stations at 29 degrees of Gemini. It is
predictable to say that the secrets around Chavez are forthcoming.
(12.05.06- Bush tried to kill him.) It will be the Summer of 2003
when Chavez faces his end -- begins to face hard times. Saturn (ends)
conjunct Sun (leader). However, nothing happens overnight. The end
of Summer 2003 is merely the beginning of hard times for Venezuelan
leaders. Between Summer 2003- 2006, Chavez may very well follow
an ending similar to his predecessor, Rodriguez. He has proposed
an election in August of 2003, Saturn will continue it's journey
to conjunct Venezuela's Sun. After that Chavez's Sun. The luck is
just beginning to be over. He is due to face the hardships that
he has brought upon himself and Venezuela.
Chiron Return--- 2004
To top it off, Chavez faces his Chiron return in 2004. This is a
time that he will have to stand before the world and face his most
sensitive spot -- his ability to lead. The last time that he had
a prominent Chiron aspect, he landed in jail after an he himself
attempted a coup d'etat. He will face vulnerabilities associated
with money, control and power. This will echo to the Venezuelan
people as economically challenging times. A nation struggling to
heal.
Conclusion
You asked me to answer the question, "When and how will the
government of Chavez will end?" This is a two part question.
His government begins to end in the Summer of 2003. I have been
able to show you this using the Saturn factor. I have applied it
to the Ingress chart for June of 2003, the Venezuela's chart and
Chavez's chart. His effectiveness as a leader will continue to decline
through 2004. Legal issues and imprisonment are very possible manifestations.
Please note that I have used both the 2:30am time, as well as Sun-on-the-Ascendant
for Chavez's chart. You were not certain about Chavez's 2:30am birth
time. Others have written with other birth times. This could be
a potential weakness in this report. I strongly felt that the 15
degrees Gemini rising fit the current planetary trends, so I did
use this chart in tandem with placing his Sun-on-the-Ascendant.
Nevertheless, no statement can outweigh an accurate birth time.
How will it occur? The astrological data supports the supposed
election time-frame of August 19, 2003. Chavez will have transiting
Jupiter conjunct his Pluto in the 3rd house. His desire for power
will be strong. Transiting Uranus conjunct Mars conjunct his natal
Midheaven. Secondary progressed Moon conjunct his progressed MC
in the 11th of elections. His leadership is due for a change. His
position of authority is unstable. His words and attitude will be
powerful and controlling. He will want control, but Saturn conjunct
the Sun (leader) for the Summer Ingress says, the leader faces losses.
It would make sense if there is a lengthy process until the next
president steps in, because Saturn will conjunct Venezuela's Sun
three times from October 2003-June 2004.
The one area I do not understand entirely is that in August of
2003 -- during the time frame of the proposed election -- transiting
Jupiter will conjoin Chavez's Pluto. It is predictable to say that
he will want to control and dominate at a time when he is on a losing
streak. The legal system or a coup d'etat is likely to take him
out if he attempts to control the outcome of the elections. His
days in the spotlight are numbered. His power in words will be strong.
In other words, he is not going to go down easy. He may use military
from neighboring countries to build on his power, even as he faces
loss.
To top it off, he faces his Chiron return in 2004. The last time
that he had a prominent Chiron aspect, he landed in jail. This is
a time when he will face and experience vulnerabilities and wounds
associated with money, control, and power. The Venezuelan people
are most likely to experience this in terms of economically challenging
times. A wounded nation.
For now, Jupiter is due to pass over Chavez's Sun in August of
2002. A lucky streak for him and Venezuelans because the chart of
the leader reflects in the people. Nevertheless, transiting Saturn
is right around the corner. It will finally begin its pass over
Summer Ingress Sun of 2003 -- not 2002. Then, it will move onto
the Venezuelan Sun for three passes from October 2003-June 2004.
In August of 2005, it will move to conjoin Chavez's Sun. It's the
beginning of the end, but it is going to take some time. If he isn't
taken out by the election, the judicial system or a coup d'etat
is likely to step in before the next term is over.
The next election process is most likely to take a long time. It's
going to be difficult for any and all the leaders of Venezuela at
this time. Big businesses, banks, the military, the unions. That
is why I suggested that you put your money in a safe place, e.g,
in dollars or something better.
In the very beginning, you will notice that I said, "like
Chavez." I think it is important to note that there is no stopping
these eclipses and their paths. We, as humans, choose leaders that
express the consciousness of the times. Chavez has punctuated a
nation divided for Venezuela. The division between the rich and
the poor classes. Carlos Ortega, the Unions. Pedro Carmona, the
business interests of Venezuela, and Air Force Col. Pedro Soto and
National Guard Capt. Pedro Flores Rivero express the military interests.
For now, I would like to say that Venezuela is out of the New Moon
eclipse path for some years to come. The worst is over, Venezuela
is divided. It is now time for the dust to settle. This will take
time.

(Fall 2000) Charts of leaders are studied in tandem
with the charts of the nations that they rule. When the chart of
the nation is hit astrologically, so too, is the chart of the leader.
As long as Barak remains the leader in Israel, Israel will continue
to struggle this next year. Barak's chart is hard hit in coming
months. There are so many hits to his chart -- that I am left to
say that not until October 2001 will Israel begin to see new development
is its home land in regards to foreign treaties, e.g., Oslo Pact
agreement.
January, May, August and September are bound to be difficult and
fraught with power struggles over who owns what.
